Career Services

Saint Clare’s Career Services offers two specialized programs - Supported Employment and Supported Education. These programs offer comprehensive strategies to assist potential students and job seekers to be successful in their vocational and educational pursuits.

Supported Employment
Supported Employment provides services to Morris County adults with a psychiatric disability who have a desire to be competitively employed. We assist individuals in obtaining and succeeding in employment in the competitive job market. Employment specialists facilitate weekly job networking groups, administer career assessments, engage in navigating online job searches, and provide linkages between participants and employers within the community. Employment specialists aid participants in improving resume writing skills and interviewing skills, and provide ongoing support through job coaching and peer support groups.

Supported Education: L.E.A.R.N.
The Learning Enhancement And Resource Network (L.E.A.R.N.) provides services for adults with a psychiatric disability, residing in Morris, Bergen, Sussex or Passaic Counties, who desire to pursue higher education. L.E.A.R.N. provides information, resources and support to help program participants gain access to post secondary, vocational and certificate programs.  The goal of L.E.A.R.N. is to create a climate of encouragement and success while assisting students in completing their course of study. L.E.A.R.N. helps with the educational enrollment process, connection to educational resources, and assistance in finding financial aid, grant and scholarship opportunities. Educational coaches assist with the development of learning skills and provide ongoing assistance and support throughout the educational experience.
