Community Health Trust
The Community Health Trust is a partnership of more than 200 community and business leaders, from Morris and Sussex counties, who are dedicated to making northwest New Jersey a healthier community. The organization brings people together in a spirit of partnership that unites individuals, neighborhoods and towns toward a common goal a healthier community.
These partnerships help create a seamless network of resources that ensure continuous improvement in health and ongoing involvement in programs that benefit the well-being of the entire community. Through new and innovative approaches to health, prevention and education, the Community Health Trust seeks to unify the community, stimulate collaborative action, and link people with resources to create a healthier future.
The Community Health Trust operates specialized teams to direct the community support of substance abuse education and the prevention and early detection of cancer. The Substance Abuse team coordinates a large annual gathering of educators and community leaders for its Annual Substance Abuse Program, while conducting or co-sponsoring additional educational programs on substance abuse and prevention throughout the year. The Cancer Action Team, works closely with Saint Clare's and community leaders to provide educational programs and preventive screenings throughout the year.
