Nursing Newsletter and Annual Report

Saint Clare’s Health System’s nursing department has adopted Careful Nursing as the theoretical framework for nursing practice at Saint Clare’s. The characteristics of the Careful Nurse Theory, which was developed by Mother Catherine McAuley in Ireland in the early 19th century, focuses on the spiritual dimensions of human life to define characteristics of nursing practice. Saint Clare’s nurses chose Careful Nursing as this central theme, which complements our faith-based organization.

Every other month, Saint Clare’s publishes the Careful Nursing News newsletter to explore the concept of Careful Nursing, highlight evidence-based practice information, and provide news of interest to the Saint Clare’s nurses in hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the health system.  Read our publication, Careful Nursing News.

Saint Clare's also publishes an annual report, which focuses on the work done by Nursing throughout Saint Clare's Health System.  It can be read by clicking here.
