Our Staff

The Children's Neurology and Epilepsy Center, based at Saint Clare's Hospital/Denville is comprised of a team of renowned physicians, accomplished technologists, and a dedicated medical support staff – all working together to offer the most advanced, specialized care for our pediatric neurology patients and their families. Our skilled team is dedicated not only to providing expert medical care, but to recognizing the unique needs of each of our patients in order to provide the compassion, kindness, and comforting environment that your child deserves.

Our Neurodiagnostic Technologists
Our skilled neurology team consists of five qualified and well-trained technologists that work together with physicians and nurses to ensure that the best possible care is given to your child. The neurology team prides itself on emphasizing that every child is treated as an individual. Our team also works with physicians and your child to accomplish testing without the need for sedation. Our neurodiagnostic technologists, Sandra Pressimone, BA, R.EEG,T. (Manager) and Colleen Guerriere, BA, R. EEG, T., are both board registered technologists with over sixteen years of combined clinical experience in adult and pediatric neurology.

Our Pediatric Nurses
Our team of pediatric nurses has received specialized training in the care of children with epilepsy. We pride ourselves on our "high tech" and "high touch" atmosphere, and we promote a family-friendly environment. The unit is under the supervision of Beth Waters, RN, BSN, CPEN who specializes in the care of pediatric patients and is certified in pediatric emergency medicine.

Our Pediatric Hospitalists
Saint Clare's Hospital/Denville has a pediatrician present in the hospital 24 hours a day to handle any pediatric emergency that might arise. Pediatric hospitalists are trained, qualified, board-certified pediatricians, not resident physicians in training.

Our Physicians
The Children's Neurology and Epilepsy Center is directed by pediatric neurologists who are acknowledged as leaders in their field. Our physicians' specialties include, but are not limited to, seizures and epilepsy, headaches, concussion, stroke, tics and Tourette  syndrome, neuromuscular disorders, autistic disorders, ADHD, and language disorders.
