Route 46 Bridge Closure in Dover
On the night of July 9, 2010, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJ DOT) will close the Route 46 Bridge in Dover. At Saint Clare’s Health System, we realize this will serve as an inconvenience for patients, visitors, staff and members of the local community. The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJ DOT) is working directly with Saint Clare’s Health System on updates so we can assist in making this construction period as smooth as possible.
We especially want to assure our community that our dedicated and professional Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles will have the necessary access points to get to Saint Clare’s Hospital/Dover in an emergency. Special access roads will be provided to our ambulances in an emergency. When every second counts, you can count on Saint Clare’s.
Saint Clare’s has been informed from NJ DOT that the bridge work is scheduled to finish at the end of the 2010. Click here for the latest detours that Saint Clare’s has received from the NJ DOT.
We ask patients, visitors and employees to allow for extra travel time to appointments, as we do expect travel to be more congested.
At Saint Clare’s Health System, we are committed to creating the best experience possible for our patients and visitors. To learn more about the bridge closure, you may click here.
