Route 46 Bridge Closure in Dover
At Saint Clare’s Health System, we are committed to the care and well-being for the members of our community.
We realize that the closure of the Route 46 Bridge in Dover will serve as an inconvenience for patients, visitors, staff and members of the local community. The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJ DOT) is working directly with Saint Clare’s Health System on updates so we can assist in making this construction period as smooth as possible.
We especially want to assure our community that our dedicated and professional Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles will have the necessary access points to get to Saint Clare’s Hospital/Dover in an emergency. Special access roads will be provided to our ambulances in an emergency. When every second counts, you can count on Saint Clare’s.
The bridge is slated to close on the night of July 9 and the work is scheduled to finish at the end of the 2010. Click here for the latest detours that Saint Clare’s has received from the NJDOT.
Please allow for extra travel time to appointments, as we do expect travel to be more congested.
At Saint Clare’s Health System, we are committed to creating the best experience possible for our patients and visitors. We will continue to keep you updated with the information that will affect you.
It’s just one more way that Saint Clare’s is Turning Promise Into Practice every day.
