Saint Clare’s Annual Saints-Classic Golf Outing to be Held August 30
The Saint Clare’s annual Saints-Classic Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010, at the Rockaway River Country Club in Denville, N.J. The tournament has a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start and features activities, including lunch, a cocktail reception and an awards program. New amenities for players this year include complimentary chair massages given by the Saint Clare’s Center for Complementary Medicine. In addition, players arriving at the event will drop off their car upon arrival and when their car is returned, it will have received a complimentary car wash. Also returning this year is the Sixth Annual Corporate Challenge for all teams. Each winning team member will receive a special award and the team’s name will be inscribed on the Cup. Proceeds from this annual event benefit the many worthwhile programs and services of Saint Clare’s Health System.
“This long-time popular event hosted in the ‘backyard’ of our hospital supports the many strategic initiatives that are under way at Saint Clare’s Health System,” said Michael Cohen, Saints-Classic Tournament Corporate Chair and Saint Clare’s Foundation Board member. “This vital support helps Saint Clare’s in carrying on its long-standing tradition of service to the communities of Northwest New Jersey.”
In what has become an annual tradition, former NFL start and New York Giant great Bart Oates will be attending this year’s event. Oates and other sports celebrities may participate in some foursomes at the Tournament and Double Eagle sponsor levels. Depending on the level of sponsorship and participation this year, each golfer will participate in the Titleist-Footjoy Tournament Prize program. A wide selection of products will be available on-site at this year’s Saints-Classic.
