June 29, 2011
The opening of the new state-of-the-art Bott Family Surgical Pavilion – which brings a new era of surgical care to Saint Clare's – was featured in an article today in The Daily Record. The article describes the June 20 opening and blessing event held to celebrate the technologically advanced Surgical Pavilion, which began operations on June 27.
Excerpt from the article:
“…St. Clare’s will be the first hospital in the state and second in the country with a combination of LED surgical lights and ceiling-mounted, operating room equipment management systems. And real-time integrated video and communications systems will mirror the technology at Cleveland Clinic, Duke, Mass General and Yale, among other U.S. hospitals.”
