Denville, NJ - February 23, 2013 - Saint Clare’s Health System sponsored Saint Clare’s CARES: A Cancer and Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Event on Saturday, February 23 at the Rockaway Townsquare Mall. The free event featured discussions on cancer and cardiovascular disease prevention with Saint Clare’s physicians, with a variety of topics including Obesity, Exercise, Heart Risks Factors, Thyroid Cancer detection and Stress Management.
Guests at the event participated in interactive demonstrations and learned expert tips on heart-healthy meal preparation, as well as yoga and screenings. Robotic surgery was also showcased with an interactive demonstration with the da Vinci® Si Surgical System and its revolutionary approach to minimally invasive surgery.
