Saint Clare’s Health System Appoints Jeffrey Lamie as Executive Director and Chief Development Officer of Saint Clare’s Foundation
New Leadership Brings Extensive Fundraising Experience to Saint Clare’s

Saint Clare’s Health System announced today that Jeffrey Lamie has been appointed as the Executive Director and Chief Development Officer of the Saint Clare’s Foundation effective June 30, 2011. Lamie brings over 15 years of fundraising leadership, presently serving as the Chief Development Officer for Health Sciences at Virginia Tech and Carilion Clinic located in Blacksburg and Roanoke, Virginia.

Most recently, Lamie initiated and developed a comprehensive fundraising program for the new Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute, as well as created a development program for the Carilion Clinic, a health system consisting of eight hospitals that is partnering with Virginia Tech in the new medical school.
His prior leadership experience includes having served as the Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving at the University of Louisville, School of Medicine Health Sciences Center, Louisville, Kentucky, and as the Director of Development at the University of Virginia (UVA) Health Foundation in support of the UVA Children’s Hospital.
Lamie has New Jersey roots, particularly in Morris County where he lived for many years. He completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers--The State University of New Jersey and received a Bachelor of Science Degree. He also completed a law degree at The Pennsylvania State University—The Dickinson School of Law.
