Appreciation for Support of the Annual Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness
The Saint Clare’s Foundation recognized the Township of Rockaway for their support of the Saint Clare’s Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness. Leslie D. Hirsch (l), president and chief executive officer of Saint Clare’s Health System, and Kimberly Armenti (r), director of the Saint Clare’s Foundation presented Rockaway Township Mayor Lou Sceusi (c) with a paver stone recognizing their support outside the Women’s Health Center at Saint Clare’s Hospital/Dover.
The Township of Rockaway has been a strong supporter of the Saint Clare’s Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness for over six years, providing the police services for the safety of all participants, which in 2010 was over 2,500 walkers.
“We are incredibly thankful for the support that the Township of Rockaway has offered to Saint Clare’s for our annual Saint Clare’s Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness,” said Hirsch. “By cooperating on this event, we are directly benefiting the health of women in our community.”
