Report Highlights Saint Clare’s Commitment to the Health and Well-Being of the Local Community
Saint Clare’s Health System is pleased to announce that the 2010 Community Benefit Annual Report, which provides an overview of the programs that Saint Clare’s offers to ensure the health and well-being of the people of northwest New Jersey, is now available.
As part of our goal to provide the community with extraordinary family-centered care, Saint Clare’s not only strives for the best physicians, the highest level of technology, and state-of-the-art facilities, but to also offer educational, social and preventative health programs through the health system’s Community Outreach Services. These programs include bringing basic medical care to the poor, underserved and uninsured, as well as working with the community on health screenings and educational health fairs.
“Saint Clare’s strives to make a significant impact on the well being of the people of our communities. The people in Morris, Sussex and Warren counties have come to count on Saint Clare’s for a variety of programs and preventative services that help keep them healthy. Many people cannot afford to pay for their care or their insurance does not cover the full cost of care. We know that in these tough economic times we are needed more than ever,” said Leslie D. Hirsch, president and chief executive officer at Saint Clare’s Health System.
