Saint Clare’s Rockaway River Cleanup Day Featured in The Star-Ledger

Saint Clare’s upcoming Denville Rockaway River Cleanup Day was recently featured in an August news story in The Star-Ledger.
On Saturday, September 11, Saint Clare’s will partner with the Town of Denville for a volunteer cleanup of the Rockaway River in Denville. The article noted that last year, more than 300 tires were pulled from the bottom of the river.

“It is important for the hospital to take the lead because we are in the community and it’s a way to give back. It beautifies and takes care of our towns,” said Cathy Cabrera, a hospital employee who is helping to coordinate the event.
