Saint Clare's Adult and Family Counseling Services help to resolve an array of problems, including those with marriage and relationships, career or job, or between parents and children. We provide support for symptoms of insomnia, anxiety and depression. Our counselors can help individuals learn how to cope with crisis and change, such as the death of a loved one, divorce, separation, loss of a job, or handle an ongoing situation such as drug or alcohol abuse in your family. We'll help you adjust to change, resolve a situation and regain control of your life, all at a fee you can afford.
Our team of highly qualified and experienced professionals review each case and recommend a treatment plan that may include short or long-term counseling or referral to another program. Since children have special needs, we offer services especially for them. Adolescent groups, school consultations, in-service workshops, crisis response, and an intensive outpatient after-school program are available. Through short-term individual and family counseling, our child counselors uncover and resolve situations that cause behavioral and emotional problems.
Psychiatric services are available to ease the transition back into the community for patients recently discharged from a psychiatric facility. Our centers provide weekly sessions, case management, and medication monitoring for patients who no longer need weekly counseling.
Behavioral Health Centers, located in Budd Lake, Cedar Knolls, and Denville, offer transitional services, including a psychosocial rehabilitation program and a residential services program for discharged psychiatric patients.
Our Counseling & Psychiatric Services provides individual, family and group-based counseling services at convenient locations throughout the area. Marital problems, parent/child conflicts, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, compulsive behaviors and more are treated by licensed therapists.
Through our Partial Care Program, Saint Clare's behavioral health professionals assist mentally ill patients in the development of skills they need for successful community living.
Intensive Family Support Services provides support and education to family members or caretakers of adults diagnosed with serious mental illness.
The Post-Partum Wellness Initiative provides a full complement of crisis intervention, assessment, counseling and self-help group support for women suffering from depression after childbirth.
For crisis assessment, intervention and referrals, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, please call a member of our Psychiatric Emergency Services team at 973-625-0280.
