The CPR Training Center of Saint Clare's offers classes for adults and adolescents on life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and classes on safety and defensive driving.
CPR classes are designed for everyone, including but not limited to members of the community, daycare providers, workplace responders, and healthcare providers. The Center offers CPR courses, including Adult Heartsaver, Adult & Pediatric CPR, Infant Emergency Care, Basic First Aid and Infant & Child CPR. In addition, the Center provides first aid classes, babysitter classes for 10-13 year olds, and infant emergency care courses for new or expectant parents and grandparents.
Healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, nurses, respiratory therapists, and doctors may call us for certification and refresher courses on Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). We offer many courses throughout the year at Saint Clare's Hospital/Dover and, in some circumstances, are available for on-site programs.
Regularly scheduled Safe Driver programs are also offered. These programs include Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator (CEVO II) for ambulance operators and Defensive Driving for New Jersey licensed drivers. Successful completion of the Defensive Driving course can help lower car insurance premiums and/or reduce license points.
