The Children's Therapeutic Residences (CTR), through the Center for the Protection of Children at Saint Clare's, provide enriched community living for child abuse victims between the ages of six and 12. The children living at CTR are unable to live with family members or foster care families due to the emotional disturbances they may experience related to their abuse.

The home-like setting at CTR maintains a nurturing and normalizing environment, where traditional family activities are integrated with structured and reward-based fundamentals. Trauma-based therapy is provided by specialized clinicians to help transition these children into adoptive homes.
