Saint Clare's provides round-the-clock, comprehensive emergency care services at the Denville, Dover, and Sussex hospitals. Each emergency department (ED) is staffed by board-certified emergency physicians supported by specially trained and certified nurses. Each ED utilizes the latest in medical technology, including CT scans and ultrasounds. Saint Clare's utilizes a "fast-track" system that moves patients, with minor symptoms and injuries, through the emergency room quickly.

Each ED is supported by state-certified paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and mobile intensive care units (MICUs) who respond to locations throughout the region in the case of an emergency. Our paramedics work alongside local first aid squads to provide advanced life support in patient's homes, in the workplace, or on the road.

The Evelyn M. Spiro Pediatric Emergency Care Center  provide specialized emergency care at Saint Clare's Hospital/Denville. The ED at Saint Clare's Hospital/Dover also offers a designated care area for children.
