As part of our continued commitment to the needs of the Sussex County community, we offer a variety of services at Saint Clare’s Health Center at Sussex.
Emergency Services:
Saint Clare’s offers advanced and comprehensive emergency care to residents in the communities we serve, including our Sussex Emergency Department and pre-hospital advanced life support services provided in the field by our Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Ambulance services.
Our Emergency Services in Sussex offers a full-service 24/7 Emergency Department which cares for more than 10,000 patients annually, as well as evaluate and treat stroke, heart attack, trauma and pediatric patients. Saint Clare’s ER physicians are board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. Additionally, our nurses are highly skilled and are trained in Basic, Advanced and Specialized Life Support.

Additionally, Saint Clare’s is the exclusive State of New Jersey designated provider of Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) services for Sussex County, staffed by certified paramedics and certified nursing staff. We remain committed to serving the emergency needs in the community.
Same-Day Surgery:
Saint Clare's Health Center at Sussex offers advanced outpatient / Same-Day Surgery, including endoscopy and other ambulatory surgery services.
Outpatient and Clinic Services:
At Saint Clare’s, we value the importance of preventative medicine to care for our population, and we offer a variety of outpatient diagnostic and clinic services to care for the communities we serve.
Our new Women’s Health Center in Sussex opened in fall 2011, and offers a variety of health services in one easy location, including:
- Full-Field Digital Mammography, the “gold standard” in breast imaging.
- Bone Density Scanner for diagnosis of osteoporosis and other bone abnormalities.
Additionally, we offer Diagnostic Services including:
- Ultrasound
- X-ray
- CT scan
- Laboratory and pathology services
